Potatoes: resistance to late blight The wild potato Solanum bulbocastanum has two genes that make it resistant to late blight. Both genes have been transferred to cultivars. In the Üplingen Plant Science Garden, research is underway to see if the cultivated varieties are thus also resistant to the plant disease. |
